Hen Do in Barcelona Part 1

Every day this week I´ll be giving you different ideas of how to spend your time here with friends.
Not only ideas, but details, costs and top tips to make sure things go as smoothly as possible so you all have fun without the stress.

Think glam cocktails, fun activities & secret events to make the trip and the hen feel special.
Pick and mix the ideas you like over the week to create your perfect weekend.

Floral Crowns and Tapas

Learn how to make beautifully cool floral crowns in a gorgeous setting followed by a light brunch for you and your friends. Manuela and her team at Gang and the Wool are creative florists who organise workshops for groups of up to 12 & help you make floral creations. Most groups love the crowns, but there are other options. The cost is 50 euros a head & this includes the workshop, brunch and photos taken and sent to you a week after the event - a lovely reminder of the day.
The workshops take place in their stylish greenhouse just a short tube or cab ride from the city centre and makes for a gorgeously chic and enjoyable activity.
Make sure to book well in advance, as Gang and the Wool also do weddings & other events.

When in Barcelona, you just have to try the local delicacies, so head out to dinner with your friends and enjoy sharing some delicious tapas dishes & a few drinks to start your night out.  I recommend Lateral in the centre of town as its great for groups and its selection of tapas. The average price per head is around 20 euros and you can also try out some of their designer cocktails. The restaurant itself is bright and airy, almost french brasserie style, with a covered terrace out front. Go for "raciones" which are slightly bigger dishes and better for sharing in groups. Book in advance.

Hope you enjoyed reading Part 1 of my Hen Do in Barcelona Edit...The rest of the week promises boats, brunch, pampering, clubs and more...x
